Getting there

Walking

From the center of Savonlinna, head south on Rantakatu towards the Savonlinna Market Square. Continue walking along Rantakatu until you reach the intersection with Mikonkiventie. Turn right onto Mikonkiventie. Keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by residential areas and some local shops. Mikonkivi Stone will be located on your left at Mikonkiventie 1. Look for a large stone, which is a well-known landmark.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Savonlinna. Start from the city center and head towards Rantakatu. Follow the same route as for walking but on a bicycle, which will allow you to cover the distance faster. Cycle along Rantakatu, then turn right onto Mikonkiventie. The distance is about 1.5 kilometers, and you will reach Mikonkivi Stone on your left at Mikonkiventie 1.

Public Transport (Bus)

Take a bus from the Savonlinna Bus Station. Look for a bus that goes towards the Mikonkiven area. Buses typically run every hour. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to go to Mikonkiventie. The bus will stop near the stone, which is located at Mikonkiventie 1.
