Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in central Pispala, make your way to Pispalanharju street. Depending on your starting point, you can follow the signs that lead to the scenic viewpoints of Pispala. Proceed along Pispalanharju until you reach the intersection near the local shops. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you see a clearly marked path to the Monument to the Red Guards on your left. Follow this path, which is about 100 meters long, leading you directly to the monument located at Pispalanharju 33.

• Bicycle

  If you're renting a bicycle in Pispala, head towards Pispalanharju from the rental shop. Ride along the scenic bike paths that run parallel to Lake Näsijärvi. Keep to the right as you approach the area where the monument is located. After about a 5-minute ride, you will see the entrance to the path leading to the monument on your right. Secure your bike at the bike racks provided nearby before walking the short distance to the monument.

• Public Transportation

  If you're near a local bus stop, you can take bus line 10 or 11 towards Pispala. The fare is approximately €3 and can be paid in cash or via a mobile app. Get off at the 'Pispalanharju' stop. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes up the hill along the main road, Pispalanharju. The monument will be visible as you approach, located at Pispalanharju 33.
