Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Turku Market Square (Kauppatori), head southwest on Aurakatu towards the River Aura. Continue straight until you reach the bridge called 'Kuppis' which will lead you across the river. Once you cross the bridge, turn left and follow the riverbank along the path. After a short stroll, you will see signs directing you toward Turku Castle. Continue straight, and you will reach the castle entrance at Linnankatu 80 within approximately 20-25 minutes.

From the Turku Market Square, take bus number 1 or 2 towards 'Linnankatu'. The bus stop is located right at the square. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Linnankatu' stop. From the bus stop, it's just a 5-minute walk to the castle. Head east on Linnankatu, and you will see Turku Castle on your left.
