Getting There

Walking

If you are starting from the Turku Market Square (Kauppatori), head southwest on Aurakatu towards the River Aura. Continue straight until you reach the bridge called 'Kuppis' which will lead you across the river. Once you cross the bridge, turn left and follow the riverbank along the path. After a short stroll, you will see signs directing you toward Turku Castle. Continue straight, and you will reach the castle entrance at Linnankatu 80 within approximately 20-25 minutes.
Public Transport - Bus

From the Turku Market Square, take bus number 1 or 2 towards 'Linnankatu'. The bus stop is located right at the square. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Linnankatu' stop. From the bus stop, it's just a 5-minute walk to the castle. Head east on Linnankatu, and you will see Turku Castle on your left.
Bicycle

If you are renting a bicycle in Turku, start at the Market Square and head southwest towards the River Aura. Follow the river along the cycling path. You will pass the Turku Science Park and continue until you reach the intersection with Linnankatu. Turn right onto Linnankatu, and Turku Castle will be on your left. The ride should take about 15 minutes.
