If you are driving, start from the city center of Helsinki. Head southwest on Mannerheimintie (Route 4) and continue straight onto Lönnrotinkatu. After about 2 km, merge onto Route 51 toward Korkeasaari. Follow the signs to Korkeasaari Zoo. There is a parking area available near the entrance of the zoo; parking fees may apply.

Public Transportation - Metro and Ferry
From the city center, take the Helsinki Metro to the Kamppi station. From there, transfer to tram number 9 towards the Kumpula area. Get off at the 'Korkeasaari Zoo' stop. The tram ride costs around €2.80. After getting off the tram, follow the signs to the ferry terminal, where you can catch a ferry to Korkeasaari. The ferry ride is included with your tram ticket if you purchase a day pass.

Public Transportation - Bus
You can also reach Korkeasaari Zoo by taking bus number 16 from the city center. Board the bus at the 'Helsinki Central Station' bus stop towards 'Korkeasaari'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes and costs around €2.80. Get off at the final stop, where you will see the entrance to the zoo.
