Getting There

• Car

  To reach Laajalahti Nature Preserve by car, head towards Espoo from your current location in Uusimaa. Use GPS coordinates (60.1890836, 24.8173526) to guide you directly to the preserve. If you're starting from Helsinki, take the E18 highway towards Espoo and follow signs for Espoonlahdenkatu. Parking is available at the nature preserve area near the entrance, and it is free of charge.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a train from your nearest station to the Espoo area, ideally the R train, which connects Helsinki to Espoo. Disembark at the 'Leppävaara' station. From there, take bus 147 towards 'Laajalahti' or 'Kivenlahti'. The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Laajalahti', which is close to the nature preserve entrance. Bus tickets can be purchased through the HSL app or at ticket machines, and prices vary depending on your journey's zones.
