If you're in Matinkylä, start at the Matinkylä Metro Station. Exit the station and head towards the bus stop area. From there, take bus number 114 towards 'Vantaa' and get off at the 'Vaskiniemi' stop. The bus ride should take about 15 minutes. Once you get off, walk along the waterfront towards the east. The World War I Fortresses are located nearby at approximately 1 km from the bus stop. Follow the path along the shoreline, and you will reach the fortresses in about 15 minutes.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Matinkylä, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 123 towards 'Leppävaara'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Kivenlahti' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 110 which will take you closer to the fortresses. Disembark at 'Fortress' stop. The walk from the bus stop to the fortresses is around 500 meters, and it will take you around 7 minutes.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Matinkylä and head towards the fortresses. Start at the Matinkylä Metro Station, and head towards the coastal path that goes along the shoreline. This scenic route is about 2 km long and should take you approximately 10 minutes by bike. Keep following the signs towards the fortresses, and you will arrive there easily.
