    If you're driving from Helsinki, take the E18 highway towards Vantaa. Exit at the 'Helsinki, Munkkiniemi' exit and follow the signs for Munkkiniemi. Continue on Munkkiniemenkuja until you reach the Mustavuori Nature Preserve. The preserve is located at the address 00970 Helsinki. There is usually ample parking available nearby, but be aware that some parking areas may require a fee.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Mustavuori Nature Preserve using public transportation, start at the Helsinki Central Station. Take tram line 4 towards 'Bredäng' and get off at the 'Munkkiniemi' stop. From there, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take bus line 50 towards 'Lauttasaari' and get off at the 'Mustavuori' stop. The preserve is a short walk from there.

    If you are already in the Munkkiniemi area, you can walk to Mustavuori Nature Preserve. Head east on Munkkiniemenkuja, then turn left onto Mustavuorentie. Follow this road until you reach the entrance of the preserve. It's a pleasant walk through the area and will take around 15-20 minutes.
