Public Transport - Bus

Start at the Vaasa Bus Station (Vaasan Linja-autoasema). Take bus number 2 towards 'Kaskinen' and get off at 'Sundom' stop. From there, you can walk approximately 3 kilometers through Sundom, following the signs towards Sandö. The route will lead you through beautiful natural scenery, and you will cross a small bridge leading to the island.

If you are near the Vaasa Market Square (Vaasan Kauppatori), you can start your journey by walking towards the waterfront. Head towards the beach area and follow the coastal path north. This scenic route will take you along the shoreline and you will eventually reach the Sundom area, from where you can continue to Sandö as described previously.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Vaasa. Head towards Sundom via the main roads, following the cycling paths.
