Fort Clinch State Park will be on your right at 2601 Atlantic Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. Look for the park entrance, which is well-marked. There is a vehicle entry fee of $6 per car (as of October 2023).
Public Transportation
While there is no direct public transportation to Fort Clinch State Park, you can take a local bus (Nassau Transit) to Fernandina Beach. From there, you may need to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach the park, as it’s approximately 3 miles away from the bus stop. The rideshare fare may vary, so it's advisable to check the app for the most current rates.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can bike from Fernandina Beach to Fort Clinch State Park. There are bike-friendly paths along Atlantic Avenue. Walking
If you're staying nearby and want to walk, you can take a scenic route from downtown Fernandina Beach to Fort Clinch State Park. The walk is roughly 3 miles and will take about an hour. Head east on Atlantic Avenue, enjoying the views as you approach the park. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. The entry fee remains the same at $6 per vehicle, but if you're walking, you're free to enter on foot.
