Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Big Bend, get on I-75 N from FL-66 W. Continue on I-75 N for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 329 for FL-50 W toward Brooksville. Merge onto FL-50 W and continue for about 12 miles. Turn left onto US-301 S and travel for 15 miles. Finally, turn right onto Battlefield Pkwy. Dade Battlefield Historic State Park will be on your left at 7200 Battlefield Pkwy, Bushnell, FL 33513.

  Public transportation options are limited in this area, but you can take a Greyhound bus to Bushnell, FL. From the Bushnell bus station, you may need to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach Dade Battlefield Historic State Park.   Walking to Dade Battlefield Historic State Park from Bushnell is not advisable due to the distance (approximately 5 miles) and lack of pedestrian-friendly routes along US-301. If you are determined to walk, consider taking a taxi or rideshare to the park instead.
