Car

From any location in Big Bend, head towards US-19 S. If you're near the town of Chiefland, take FL-320 W to reach US-19 S. Continue on US-19 S until you approach the junction with FL-51. Take a right turn onto FL-51 N towards Mayo. After about 12 miles, turn left onto FL-27 S. Continue on FL-27 S for about 5 miles, and you will see signs for Steinhatchee Springs Wildlife Management Area (WMA). Follow the signs to the entrance. Note that some parts of FL-27 may be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.
