Getting There

• Car

  From central Cape Canaveral, head west on A1A (Cocoa Beach Causeway) for approximately 10 miles. Follow the signs to merge onto FL-528 W towards Orlando. Continue on FL-528 W for about 12 miles until you reach exit 49 for US-1 N. Merge onto US-1 N and continue for about 5 miles. Turn left onto S Washington Ave in Titusville, where you'll find the entrance to Canaveral National Seashore. Note that there may be a vehicle entrance fee, so have cash or a credit card ready.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, start by taking a Space Coast Area Transit bus from Cape Canaveral to Merritt Island. You can catch the bus at any designated stop along A1A. Once you arrive at Merritt Island, transfer to the Route 1 bus heading north, which will take you to Titusville. From the bus stop in Titusville, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to the entrance of Canaveral National Seashore, as the park is not within walking distance from the bus stop.

  For those looking to cycle, there are bike-friendly routes from Cape Canaveral to Canaveral National Seashore. Start by riding west on A1A until you reach the Cocoa Beach Causeway. Follow the causeway and then take FL-528 W to US-1 N. You can then use the shoulder of the road to reach the entrance on S Washington Ave. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws for safety.
