If you are driving from central Cape Canaveral, start by heading west on 520 W (Merritt Island Causeway) for about 10 miles. Continue straight onto FL-3 N, and then make a left onto Courtenay Pkwy N. The Manatee Observation Deck will be on your right after approximately 5 miles. Look for parking nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Manatee Observation Deck using public transportation, take the Space Coast Area Transit bus route 9 from Cape Canaveral towards Cocoa. You'll need to transfer to route 1 at the Merritt Island Transfer Center. Take route 1 towards Mims and get off at the stop closest to Courtenay Pkwy N. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk north along Courtenay Pkwy to reach the observation deck.
