Public Bus
From Cape Coral, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the LeeTran bus route 150 towards Bonita Springs. Stay on the bus for approximately 50 minutes until you reach the Bonita Beach stop. From there, walk west for about 10 minutes along Bonita Beach Boulevard until you reach 505 Barefoot Beach Blvd, where the Barefoot Beach County Preserve is located.
Bicycle
If you are comfortable cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Cape Coral. Start by heading south towards the Cape Coral Parkway. Follow the parkway until you reach Del Prado Boulevard. Turn left onto Del Prado and continue to the intersection with Pine Island Road. From there, take Pine Island Road towards Bonita Springs. Once you reach Bonita Beach Boulevard, turn right and continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach 505 Barefoot Beach Blvd.
Rideshare
Use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Enter 'Barefoot Beach County Preserve, 505 Barefoot Beach Blvd, Bonita Springs, FL 34134' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the preserve. The ride will typically take around 25-30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, first make your way to the nearest bus stop for LeeTran route 150 and take it to Bonita Springs. Once you arrive at Bonita Beach stop, continue west on Bonita Beach Boulevard for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Barefoot Beach County Preserve. Please ensure you are prepared for a longer journey, as walking from Cape Coral directly is not practical.
