From downtown Cape Coral, head south on Cape Coral Parkway. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Del Prado Boulevard. Turn left onto Del Prado Boulevard and follow it south. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the direction to Fort Myers. After approximately 5 miles, you will reach the intersection with John Morris Road. Turn right onto John Morris Road, and San Carlos Bay - Bunche Beach Preserve will be on your left.

Start by locating the nearest bus stop in Cape Coral. Take LeeTran Bus Route 150 towards Fort Myers. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and disembark at the stop for the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard and John Morris Road. From there, walk east on John Morris Road for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach San Carlos Bay - Bunche Beach Preserve.

If you're close to the Cape Coral Yacht Club, you can start your walk from there. Head north along the shoreline until you reach the Cape Coral Parkway. Turn left and walk towards Del Prado Boulevard. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Del Prado Boulevard, and proceed south. After about 5 miles, turn right onto John Morris Road, and San Carlos Bay - Bunche Beach Preserve will be on your left.
