Car
If you are driving from anywhere on Captiva Island, start by heading south on Captiva Drive towards Sanibel Island. Continue straight until you reach the Sanibel Causeway. Cross the causeway and continue onto Periwinkle Way. Turn right onto Tarpon Bay Road, and then take a left onto Pine Island Road. Follow Pine Island Road until it merges into Summerlin Road. Continue on Summerlin Road until you see the signs for Fort Myers Beach. As you approach Fort Myers Beach, turn right onto Estero Boulevard. Continue on Estero Boulevard and turn left onto Connecticut Street. The Mound House will be on your left at 451 Connecticut St.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the LeeTran Bus #150 from Captiva Island. You will need to catch the bus at the nearest bus stop on Captiva Drive. The bus will take you towards Fort Myers Beach. Once you arrive at the Fort Myers Beach transfer station, you will need to switch to Bus #2 heading towards Bonita Springs. Get off at the stop closest to Connecticut Street. From there, walk east on Connecticut Street for about 5 minutes. The Mound House will be located at 451 Connecticut St.
