Car
If you are driving from the center of Captiva Island, head south on Captiva Drive until you reach the intersection with Sanibel Captiva Road. Turn left onto Sanibel Captiva Road and continue until you reach the traffic circle. At the circle, take the third exit onto Periwinkle Way. Continue on Periwinkle Way until it merges onto Tarpon Bay Road. Follow Tarpon Bay Road until you reach the intersection with Pine Island Road (SR-78). Turn right onto Pine Island Road and continue until you reach the intersection with US-41. Merge onto US-41 North and continue for about 30 miles. Take the exit for Punta Gorda and follow the signs to Ponce de Leon Parkway. The park will be on your right at 3400 Ponce de Leon Pkwy.
Public Transportation
To reach Ponce De Leon Park via public transportation, start by taking the LeeTran bus from Captiva Island to Sanibel Island. From the Sanibel Island stop, transfer to the LeeTran Route 50 bus heading towards Punta Gorda. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for timings. Once you arrive in Punta Gorda, disembark at the Ponce de Leon Parkway stop. The park is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 3400 Ponce de Leon Pkwy.
