If you're driving from central Clearwater Beach, head south on Mandalay Avenue. After about 1 mile, the road will turn into Gulf Boulevard. Continue driving for about 2 miles. You'll see signs directing you to Sand Key Park on your right. Turn into the park entrance and follow the signs to the parking area. Please note that there is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle, which you can pay at the automated machines in the parking lot.

To reach Sand Key Beach using public transportation, board the PSTA bus route 60 at any stop along Mandalay Avenue. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. Ride the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the Sand Key Park stop. From there, it's a short walk to the beach access point. The bus fare is $2 per ride, and exact change is required.

For those who prefer cycling, Clearwater Beach offers bike rentals available at various locations. Once you have your bike, head south on Mandalay Avenue, which will turn into Gulf Boulevard. Follow the bike lanes which will take you directly to Sand Key Park. The ride is about 3 miles and is relatively flat and easy. Be cautious of traffic as you approach the park.

If you're staying nearby and wish to walk to Sand Key Beach, head south on Mandalay Avenue. Depending on your location, it could be a 30 to 40-minute walk.
