Public Transit
From Clearwater, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) Bus Route 62 towards Tarpon Springs. The bus will take you along Gulf to Bay Blvd. and then onto US-19. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Tarpon Springs stop. From there, you may need to walk to the Anclote Key Preserve State Park ferry terminal located at 1000 E. Tarpon Ave. It's about a 25-minute walk, so be sure to check a map for the best route.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Clearwater. Start by heading north on Gulf Blvd until you reach the Pinellas Trail. Follow the trail northbound towards Tarpon Springs. This scenic route will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of biking. Once you reach Tarpon Springs, you may need to navigate to the ferry terminal at 1000 E. Tarpon Ave.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are already in Tarpon Springs, walk to Anclote Key Preserve State Park by making your way to 1000 E. Tarpon Ave. This is approximately a 20-minute walk from the downtown area. Head east on Tarpon Ave until you reach the water, where you can find the ferry service that takes you to the park.
