From Clearwater, head to the nearest bus stop and take the PSTA Route 60 bus heading southbound. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 34th Street South & Gandy Boulevard. From there, transfer to the PSTA Route 4 bus heading towards St. Petersburg. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop for Gandy Beach. You will see the beach area directly ahead.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from any local rental shop in Clearwater. Start by heading south on Mandalay Avenue towards the Clearwater Memorial Causeway. Cross the causeway and take the Pinellas Trail, riding south until you reach the Gandy Bridge. Once on the Gandy Bridge, follow the bike path to the end, where you will find Gandy Beach on the St. Petersburg side.
