If you're traveling by car, start from downtown Crystal River. Head north on US-19 N (also known as S Suncoast Blvd) for about 2 miles. Then, turn right onto W Fort Island Trail. Continue on Fort Island Trail for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach N Sailboat Ave. Turn left onto N Sailboat Ave, and the Crystal River Preserve State Park will be on your left. There is no entrance fee required to access the park.
Public Transportation

For those relying on public transport, take the Citrus County Transit bus service from various locations in Crystal River to the nearest stop on US-19 N. From there, you'll need to walk approximately 1.5 miles north along US-19 N and then follow the directions mentioned above to reach the park entrance.
