From the Daytona Beach area, head to the nearest bus stop on A1A. Take the Votran bus number 4 heading northbound. Stay on the bus for approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop near 2099 N Beach St in Ormond Beach. From the bus stop, walk north for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of the Addison Blockhouse Historic State Park.

If you're renting a bicycle, start from the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. Head north along the beach on the designated bike path. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with N Beach St. Turn left onto N Beach St and ride for about 1 mile. The Addison Blockhouse Historic State Park will be on your right. Follow the signs for the park entrance.

If you are staying in central Daytona Beach, you can walk to the park. Start at the Daytona Beach Oceanfront Park and head north along the beach. Continue walking for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with N Beach St. Turn left onto N Beach St and proceed for another 1 mile. The Addison Blockhouse Historic State Park will be on your right. It’s a pleasant walk with scenic views of the coast.
