Getting There

    From any location in Daytona Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the Votran bus system. You will need to take the Votran Route 4, which travels south towards Ponce Inlet. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop at 'Ponce Inlet'. Once you disembark, the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum is a short walk south along S Peninsula Dr. Follow the signs to reach the lighthouse.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Daytona Beach. Start your journey by heading south towards Dunlawton Ave. Follow Dunlawton Ave until you reach the intersection with S Peninsula Dr. Turn right onto S Peninsula Dr and continue cycling for approximately 3 miles. The Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum will be on your left at 4931 S Peninsula Dr. Make sure to obey the traffic rules and stay safe while cycling.

    For adventurous walkers, you can follow a scenic route. Start at the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and walk south along the beach. Continue until you reach the southern end of the beach, then head inland toward S Peninsula Dr. Follow S Peninsula Dr for about 2 miles. This walk will take approximately 1.5 hours depending on your pace. The lighthouse will be on your right. Make sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
