Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the main road in Destin Beach, Highway 98. Head east on Highway 98 and continue for about 1.5 miles. Look for the signs for Scenic Highway 98 and turn right onto Scenic Highway 98. Continue on this road for approximately 0.5 miles. SNORKEL beach is located near the intersection with Calhoun Avenue. Look for the public beach access points, which will lead you directly to the sandy shores. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some areas may charge a parking fee.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take the local shuttle service available in Destin. Check the schedules for the Emerald Coast Trolley, which stops at various locations along Highway 98. Board the trolley heading east and get off at the stop closest to Scenic Highway 98. From there, it's a short walk to the beach access point. Be sure to have some cash ready, as there may be a small fare for the trolley ride.

• Bicycle

  For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Destin. Once you have your bike, you can ride along Scenic Highway 98. Follow the same route as the car directions – head east on Highway 98, turn right onto Scenic Highway 98, and continue until you reach the access points for SNORKEL beach. This is a great way to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
