Getting There

• Car

  From the main entrance of Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park, head south on Janes Scenic Drive. Continue on Janes Scenic Drive for approximately 8 miles until you reach the intersection with U.S. Highway 41. Turn left onto U.S. Highway 41 South. After about 3.5 miles, take a right onto Sabal Palm Road. Good Mood Ranch will be located at 306 Sabal Palm Rd, Naples, FL 34114, approximately 1 mile down the road on your right.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you will need to take a bus from the nearest stop in Everglades City. Catch the Collier Area Transit Bus Route 2 heading south. Disembark at the nearest stop to U.S. Highway 41, then transfer to a taxi or rideshare service to reach Good Mood Ranch at 306 Sabal Palm Rd, Naples, FL 34114. Note that bus schedules may vary, and you should check the current timetable for any service changes.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can bike from the park entrance by following Janes Scenic Drive south to U.S. Highway 41, then turning left. After about 3.5 miles, turn onto Sabal Palm Road. Remember to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic as you navigate the roads. Good Mood Ranch is approximately 1 mile down Sabal Palm Road from the highway.

• Walking

  Walking to Good Mood Ranch is not recommended due to the distance and lack of sidewalks along the roads. However, if you choose to walk, follow Janes Scenic Drive to U.S. Highway 41 and then proceed as mentioned for cycling. It's approximately a 5-mile walk, so ensure you are prepared with plenty of water and sun protection.
