Car
If you're driving from the center of First Coast, start by getting onto I-95 S from any local road that connects to it. Continue on I-95 S for about 30 miles until you reach the exit for I-10 W towards Lake City. Merge onto I-10 W and drive for approximately 40 miles. Take exit 384 to merge onto US-441 N toward Gainesville. Continue on US-441 N for about 15 miles. Turn left onto SE 39th Ave, then take a right onto Millhopper Rd. Follow Millhopper Rd for about 2 miles, and you will find Devil's Millhopper Geological State Park on your left at 4732 Millhopper Rd, Gainesville, FL 32653. There is a parking fee of $4 per vehicle.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound bus or a local transit option like the Regional Transit System (RTS) from your location in First Coast to Gainesville. Once in Gainesville, you can take RTS bus route 5 (Millhopper) towards the Millhopper area. Get off at the stop closest to Millhopper Rd. From there, it’s a short walk to the park entrance at 4732 Millhopper Rd. Note that bus fares vary, so check the RTS website for the latest fares and schedules.
