Car
If you're driving, the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center is located at 35 Quay Rd, Key West, FL 33040. From US-1 South, follow signs for Key West. As you approach the island, you will reach the intersection of US-1 and Roosevelt Blvd. Continue straight onto Eisenhower Dr. Follow Eisenhower Dr until you reach White St, then turn left. Continue on White St until you reach Quay Rd, then turn right. The Eco-Discovery Center will be on your right. Look for the large parking area nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center using public transportation, take the Key West Transit bus service. You can board the bus from various locations in Key West, such as the Key West International Airport or downtown areas. Ensure you are on the bus line heading towards the 'Fort Zachary Taylor' route. The closest stop to the Eco-Discovery Center is at the intersection of White St and Quay Rd. From there, it’s just a short walk down Quay Rd to the center, which will be on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, Key West is bike-friendly. Start at the southern part of the island and head towards the historic district. Follow the bike lanes along White St. Once you reach Quay Rd, turn left, and the Eco-Discovery Center will be on your right. There are bike racks available for parking.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, walking to the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center is a great option. From the central areas of Key West, head towards White St. Follow White St until you reach Quay Rd. Turn right on Quay Rd, and the Eco-Discovery Center will be on your right. Remember, it’s a pleasant walk, and you can enjoy the local scenery along the way.
