• Car

  If you're driving from any location in the Florida Keys, head towards Key West. Follow US-1 South, which is the main highway that runs through the Keys. Once you reach Key West, look for signs directing you to downtown. Turn onto Whitehead Street, and continue until you reach 502 Whitehead St, where The Kapok Tree is located. There is typically street parking available, but be aware of any parking regulations.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you prefer public transportation, use the Key West Transit bus service. You can catch a bus at various locations throughout the Keys. Make sure to check the schedule online or at a bus stop. Take the bus towards Key West and get off at the stop closest to downtown. From there, it’s a short walk to 502 Whitehead St. Note that the bus fare is usually around $2 per ride.

• Bicycle
