Walking
If you're starting from downtown Fort Pierce, head east on Avenue A towards the waterfront. Continue on Avenue A until you reach the intersection with Seaway Drive. Turn right onto Seaway Drive and follow it as it curves along the coastline. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Shorewinds Drive. Turn left onto Shorewinds Drive and continue walking until you arrive at Fort Pierce Inlet State Park, which will be on your left at 905 Shorewinds Dr.
Biking
From downtown Fort Pierce, rent a bike from a local rental shop. Start by heading east on Avenue A towards Seaway Drive. Once you reach Seaway Drive, turn right and continue biking along the scenic route. This road will take you parallel to the coastline. When you reach Shorewinds Drive, turn left and bike straight until you arrive at Fort Pierce Inlet State Park at 905 Shorewinds Dr.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transportation, take the local bus service, which operates routes throughout Fort Pierce. Board a bus that heads towards the beach area. You will want to get off at the stop closest to Seaway Drive. From there, walk east on Seaway Drive until you reach Shorewinds Drive, then turn left and continue walking until you reach Fort Pierce Inlet State Park at 905 Shorewinds Dr.
