From downtown Gainesville, head to the nearest bus stop on University Avenue and take the RTS bus route 5 towards 'North Florida Regional Medical Center'. Make sure to check the RTS schedule for the most accurate times. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'Millhopper Rd' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk north on Millhopper Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Devil's Millhopper Geological State Park at 4732 Millhopper Rd. The park will be on your right.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike shop in Gainesville. Start on University Avenue heading west, then turn left onto NW 34th St. Cycle north for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Millhopper Road. Head north on NW 13th St and continue until you reach NW 39th Ave. Cross the avenue and continue walking straight until you reach Millhopper Road. Turn left onto Millhopper Road and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your right at 4732 Millhopper Rd.
