    From Homestead, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Miami-Dade Transit bus route 38 or 36 heading towards Miami. Make sure to check the schedule as buses may not run frequently. Stay on the bus until you reach the SW 8th St & SW 14th Ave stop in Little Havana. Once you get off, walk east on SW 8th St for about 5 minutes. The Bay of Pigs Museum & Library will be on your left at 1338 SW 8th St.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Homestead. Head north on Krome Ave (SW 177th Ave) and take the path that connects to the East-West bike trail. Follow the trail towards Miami. Once you reach SW 8th St, turn right and continue for about 2.5 miles. The museum will be on your right at 1338 SW 8th St.

    If you are in central Homestead, you can walk to the museum. Head north on Homestead Blvd until you reach the intersection with SW 8th St. Turn left (west) on SW 8th St and continue walking for about 7 miles.
