Start at the nearest bus stop in Homestead. Take the Miami-Dade Transit Bus Route 38 towards 'Florida City'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'SW 162nd Ave & 224th St' stop. From there, walk north on SW 162nd Ave for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Castellow Hammock Preserve & Nature Center on your left.

Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, you can cycle from downtown Homestead to Castellow Hammock Preserve & Nature Center. Head west on NE 8th St, then turn south onto N Krome Ave. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with SW 162nd Ave. Turn left and ride about 1 mile to the preserve, which will be on your right.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to Castellow Hammock Preserve & Nature Center. Start from the center of Homestead and head south on Krome Avenue. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto SW 162nd Ave. Continue walking for another mile, and you will find the entrance to the preserve on your left.
