From there, walk north on SW 162nd Ave for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Castellow Hammock Preserve & Nature Center on your left.

    If you have a bicycle, you can cycle from downtown Homestead to Castellow Hammock Preserve & Nature Center. Head west on NE 8th St, then turn south onto N Krome Ave. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with SW 162nd Ave. Turn left and ride about 1 mile to the preserve, which will be on your right.
