Getting There

  • Car

    From Honeymoon Island State Park, exit the park and head south on Honeymoon Island Causeway toward the mainland. Continue on the causeway until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with State Road 586 (Curlew Road). Turn left onto State Road 586 and continue for about 2.5 miles. You will then reach the intersection with U.S. Highway 19. Turn right onto U.S. Highway 19 North and drive for approximately 3 miles. Take the exit for State Road 580 (Main Street) and turn left. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Santa Anna Drive. Turn right onto Santa Anna Drive, and you will find the entrance to Pinellas Trail at 1757 Santa Anna Dr, Dunedin, FL 34698.

    If you are using public transportation, start by taking the PSTA Route 62 (the local bus service) from Honeymoon Island State Park to the nearest bus stop on the mainland. You may need to transfer to another bus line depending on the schedule. From the nearest bus stop, take Route 62 towards the Tarpon Springs area. After a few stops, transfer to Route 19 which goes north towards Dunedin. Get off at the Main Street and Santa Anna Drive stop.
