If you're driving, start by heading south on Overseas Highway (US-1). Depending on your starting point in Islamorada, you may take either the northbound or southbound lanes. Continue on US-1 for about 10 miles until you reach Tavernier. Look for the Wild Bird Sanctuary located at 93600 Overseas Hwy, Tavernier, FL 33070, which will be on your right-hand side. There should be clear signage indicating the entrance. Parking is available on-site.
