If you are starting from downtown Jacksonville, head northeast on W Adams St toward N Laura St. Continue on W Adams St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N Main St. Turn right onto N Main St and walk for about 0.3 miles. Then, turn left onto E 5th St. Continue walking on E 5th St for about 0.2 miles. The Camp Springfield (Cuba Libre) Historic Marker will be located on your left at 435 E 5th St.

From downtown Jacksonville, you can take the JTA bus route 2 (which heads towards the Springfield area). Board the bus at the nearest stop on W Forsyth St. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes and get off at the stop near E 5th St. Walk east on E 5th St for a few minutes, and you will find the Camp Springfield (Cuba Libre) Historic Marker at 435 E 5th St on your left.
