Head east on the Overseas Highway (US-1) for approximately 1.5 miles. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the entrance to the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park on your left. Enter the park and follow the path towards the visitor center. From there, continue towards the nature trails where Aviary Island is located within the park.
