Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying in a nearby hotel, you can walk to the USS Spiegel Grove. Start by heading towards the coast along the nearest road. Look for signs directing you to the Key Largo waterfront. Once you reach the water, follow the path south until you see the entrance to the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Continue walking toward the parking area for the park, where you will find the entrance to the USS Spiegel Grove located at the docks.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Key Largo. From your rental location, head south along the Overseas Highway (US-1). Make sure to use the bike lane for safety. Follow the signs towards John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Once you reach the park, park your bicycle near the entrance and walk towards the docks where the USS Spiegel Grove is located.

  Use the local bus service called the Florida Keys Shuttle. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location and request a stop at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Once you arrive, walk toward the entrance of the park and head to the docks where you'll find the USS Spiegel Grove.

  Request a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Lyft. Input 'USS Spiegel Grove' or 'John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the parking area of the park. Once you arrive, walk to the docks to see the USS Spiegel Grove.
