Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from downtown Key West, head south on Whitehead Street until you reach South Street. Turn left on South Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. Turn right on Atlantic Boulevard, and you will see Higgs Beach on your left. The beach is located at 100 Atlantic Blvd, just a short 15-20 minute walk from downtown.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Key West. Start your ride from Duval Street and head west on Southard Street. Continue until you reach Atlantic Boulevard, then turn left. Follow Atlantic Boulevard until you reach Higgs Beach, which will be on your right. The bike ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.
