Bicycle
If you're in the heart of Key West, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops. Start by heading south on Whitehead Street until you reach the intersection with Southard Street. Turn left onto Southard Street and continue until you hit the ocean at the Southernmost Point Buoy. From there, follow the coastline along the Atlantic Ocean, riding along the scenic coastal path. Continue until you reach the end of the island where you can see the Sand Key Lighthouse in the distance. It will be just southwest of your position, a short ride away.
Walking
From the center of Key West, walk south on Duval Street until you reach the intersection with South Street. Turn right onto South Street, then continue walking until you reach the waterfront. At the waterfront, you will see a path that leads towards the beaches. Follow this path along the coast, keeping the ocean on your right side. As you walk, you will eventually spot the Sand Key Lighthouse to your southwest. It is a bit of a trek, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the sights along the way!

Catch the Key West Trolley from a stop near your location. The Trolley has several routes, and you should look for one that heads towards the southernmost part of the island. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop near the Southernmost Point. From there, head west along the coast until you reach the Sand Key Lighthouse, which will be visible from the shore.
