Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location in Marathon, FL, head south on US-1 S (Overseas Highway) toward the Seven Mile Bridge. Continue on US-1 S for about 5 miles. Look for the exit sign for Knights Key, which is located just before the bridge to the next island. Take the exit and follow the signs to Knights Key. The island is directly accessible from US-1, and parking is available on the island.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check for local bus services that operate along the Overseas Highway. The Lower Keys Shuttle may have routes that serve Marathon. Board the bus heading to Key West, and request to be dropped off at the Knights Key stop. Be sure to check the schedule in advance, as service may be limited.   For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various shops around Marathon. Once you have your bike, travel south on the Overseas Highway.
