Public Transit
If you're starting your journey from Downtown Miami, head to the Metromover station at 1st Street and Miami Avenue. Take the Metromover to the College/Bayside station. Once you arrive, transfer to the Metrorail at the adjacent Government Center station. Board a train heading towards the South Miami direction and ride it for three stops until you reach the Overtown station. After exiting the station, walk west on NW 8th St for about 0.4 miles. Turn right onto NW 11th St and continue for two blocks until you reach the Historic Black Police Precinct Courthouse and Museum located at 480 NW 11th St.

Get off at the NW 12th Ave & NW 8th St stop. Walk two blocks east on NW 8th St and turn left onto NW 11th St. The Historic Black Police Precinct Courthouse and Museum will be on your right at 480 NW 11th St. The total travel time is approximately 45-60 minutes depending on wait times.
