From downtown Mount Dora, head north on Donnelly Street toward 5th Avenue. Continue on Donnelly Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with U.S. Highway 441. Turn left onto U.S. Highway 441 and follow it for approximately 8 miles. Take the exit toward County Road 3 N. Merge onto County Road 3 N and continue for about 5 miles. Monkey Island Trail will be on your right side.

Start at the Mount Dora City Hall bus stop. Catch the Lake County Transit bus route that heads toward U.S. Highway 441. Get off at the stop near U.S. Highway 441 & County Road 3 N. From there, you will need to walk north on County Road 3 N for about 1 mile. Monkey Island Trail will be on your left.
