Car
If you're driving, begin your journey on US-19 N or I-75 S, depending on your starting point in Nature Coast. Follow signs for Apollo Beach. From I-75 S, take exit 246 for Big Bend Rd and head west. Continue on Big Bend Rd until it turns into Surfside Blvd. Follow Surfside Blvd for about 5 miles until you reach Apollo Beach Preserve at 6760 Surfside Blvd, Apollo Beach, FL 33572. There is free parking available at the preserve.
Public Transportation
To reach Apollo Beach Preserve via public transport, take the local bus service to the nearest transfer point, which is the Southshore Transit Center. From there, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to Apollo Beach Preserve as public transit does not directly service the area. Expect to pay approximately $10-20 for the rideshare, depending on traffic.
Bicycle
