If you are driving from any location in Nature Coast, start by getting onto US-19 South or I-75 South, depending on your starting point. Continue on US-19 South towards Crystal River. Once you reach the intersection with FL-44, take FL-44 East towards Inverness. Then merge onto I-95 South towards Daytona Beach. After about 30 miles, take exit 173 for FL-406 East toward Cape Canaveral. Continue on FL-406, then turn onto US-1 South. Follow US-1 until you reach the intersection with FL-A1A South. Turn right onto FL-A1A South and follow it for approximately 30 miles until you arrive at Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge located at 8385 S Hwy A1A, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951. Parking is available on site, and there may be a nominal fee for parking.
