If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards I-75 from your current location in Nature Coast. Take I-75 South and continue for about 30 miles. Take exit 329 for CR-476 towards Bushnell. After exiting, turn left onto CR-476 and continue for approximately 6 miles. Then, turn right onto Battlefield Parkway (CR-570). Dade Battlefield Historic State Park will be on your left at 7200 Battlefield Pkwy, Bushnell, FL 33513. There is no entrance fee for the park, but bring cash for any donations.

For those relying on public transportation, you can take the Greyhound bus service to Bushnell. Once you arrive at the Bushnell bus station, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to Dade Battlefield Historic State Park, which is about 6 miles away. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as it may not run frequently. Expect to pay approximately $15-30 for a taxi or rideshare to the park.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to bike, ensure you have a sturdy bike and necessary gear. From Bushnell, head east on CR-476. After about 6 miles, turn right onto Battlefield Parkway (CR-570). Dade Battlefield Historic State Park will be on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic. This is a scenic route, but it might take around 30-45 minutes depending on your biking speed.

Walking to Dade Battlefield Historic State Park from the nearest town (Bushnell) is not highly recommended due to the distance of about 6 miles and the nature of the roads. However, if you choose this option, follow CR-476 east, and then turn right onto Battlefield Parkway (CR-570). Be prepared for a long walk, which could take over an hour and a half. Ensure you have water and wear comfortable shoes.
