Car
If you are driving to Leffis Key Preserve, start on FL-64 W (Manatee Ave) and head toward Bradenton Beach. After approximately 10 miles, merge onto Gulf Dr S. Continue on Gulf Dr S for about 1.5 miles, and you will see the entrance to Leffis Key Preserve on your left. There is no entrance fee, and parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, take the SCAT bus service (Sarasota County Area Transit) to Bradenton Beach. You can catch the bus from various points in Sarasota. Once you arrive in Bradenton Beach, walk south on Gulf Dr S for about 0.5 miles. The entrance to Leffis Key Preserve will be on your right. Make sure to check the SCAT bus schedule as it may vary throughout the day.
Walking or Biking
If you are already in the vicinity of Bradenton Beach, you can walk or bike to Leffis Key Preserve. From downtown Bradenton Beach, head south on Gulf Dr S, and the preserve will be located on your left after approximately 1 mile. This is a great option if you want to enjoy the coastal scenery along the way.
