Take FL-44 E until you hit I-95 S. Merge onto I-95 S and drive for approximately 25 miles. Take exit 188 for FL-518 E toward Melbourne. Continue on FL-518 E for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with A1A. Turn right onto S Hwy A1A (also known as Ocean Avenue). The Barrier Island Sanctuary will be on your left at 8385 S Hwy A1A in Melbourne Beach, FL 32951. Look for the entrance sign and parking area.
