Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Melbourne Beach, Florida. From the center of Nature Coast, take US-19 South until you reach FL-60 East towards Vero Beach. Merge onto I-95 South and continue to Exit 180 for FL-518 toward Melbourne Beach. Turn left onto FL-518 E and continue until you reach the A1A junction. Turn right onto S Hwy A1A, and you will find Coconut Point Sanctuary at 4000 S Hwy A1A on your right. There is no entrance fee to access the sanctuary.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or similar bus service to Melbourne, Florida. Once you arrive at the Melbourne bus station, you will need to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach Coconut Point Sanctuary, as public transit options in the immediate area are limited. Provide the driver with the destination: 4000 S Hwy A1A, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951. Expect to pay approximately $15-$25 for the rideshare service.

• Bicycle

  If you are feeling adventurous and enjoy cycling, consider renting a bicycle from a local shop in Melbourne. From the city center, follow the bike paths along FL-518 E towards A1A. Once you reach A1A, turn right and ride south until you arrive at Coconut Point Sanctuary. The ride is approximately 8 miles and will take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear a helmet and adhere to safety regulations while cycling.
