From any location in North Florida, head towards Interstate 75 (I-75) South. If you're in cities like Jacksonville or Gainesville, I-75 is easily accessible. Once on I-75 South, continue for approximately 90 miles. Take exit 265 for Bruce B. Downs Blvd and turn left onto Bruce B. Downs Blvd. Continue for about 7 miles until you reach the intersection with E. Fowler Ave. Turn right onto E. Fowler Ave, and in about 1 mile, you will see Hamner Tower on your left at 28.0696° N, 82.4678° W. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start at any major bus terminal in North Florida. Use Greyhound or Megabus services to reach Tampa. Once you arrive at the Tampa bus station, you can take the HART bus service. Board the Route 51 bus towards the University Area Transit Center, and get off at the stop at E. Fowler Ave & Bruce B. Downs Blvd. From there, Hamner Tower is approximately a 15-minute walk to the west along E. Fowler Ave, where you will find it on your left. Please note that bus fares typically range from $2 to $3.
