If you're traveling by car from Jacksonville, FL, take I-95 South. Continue on I-95 South for about 30 miles, then take exit 1 for FL-40 East toward St. Marys. After about 8 miles, turn left onto St. Marys Road. Follow St. Marys Road for approximately 3 miles, and you will arrive at the Dungeness Ruins, located within the Cumberland Island National Seashore. There is a parking area available, which may incur a small fee for entry into the park.

To reach Dungeness Ruins via public transportation, take a Greyhound bus or a local transit service to St. Marys, GA. Once you arrive in St. Marys, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the Cumberland Island Ferry terminal. The ferry to Cumberland Island is the only way to access the Dungeness Ruins, and it costs approximately $30 for a round trip.
